The following is a small job that was done for a homeowner that wanted us to remove and replace an existing privacy fence that divided one of the property lines.

The fence was in pretty sad shape as you can see in the first three pictures.

The first line of business was to demolish the old fence and pull all the old rotten & broken wood posts.

Here you can see the new 4" X 4" pressure treated posts have been set in concrete and leveled. After the concrete had cured we trimmed the posts to the proper length. Because there was such a steep grade change we decided to scratch build the fence on-site in order to keep the fence tight to the ground and have a pleasing gradual rise.

Here you can see the dog-ear style pickets that were chosen being placed on the 2" X 4" horizontal supports. We use coated deck screws or hot dip galvanized nails & fasteners to prevent rust and corrosion on the fasteners and staining on the lumber.

The homeowner was very pleased with the appearance of the new fence
