This homeowner contacted us because a cross state mover had damaged their table. I don't know what the table got up against but it was damaged pretty good. Since there was some sentimental value they asked me to refinish it for them.
I completely stripped the wood and sanded it smooth.
The homeowner asked if the final finish could be lighter so we used a natural stain and this is the end result. A natural oil finish was used on the table to seal it and eliminate the gloss finish that it originally had. The homeowner was quite happy.
